The Institute of Communications Engineering was founded in 2001. IMPTE is the Master's program for international students only. Currently, many of our faculty members are on the editorial boards of many IEEE journals, including IEEE Trans. Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, IEEE Trans. Microwave Theory and Techniques, IEEE Trans. Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Trans. Wireless Communications, and IEEE Trans. Broadcasting.

Furthermore, the Institute owns many patents and regularly transfers its newly developed technologies to local companies. Many alumni of the Institute are outstanding leaders in the Taiwan telecommunication industry. Welcome to join us!!
