2. Credits

(1) Students have to complete 24-credit coursework for grauduation qualification, among them at least 9 credits from the IMPTE courses.

  • Students can take two advisors' "independent study" courses during the study period. The maximum 6 credits for "independent study"  can be counted as our program's graduation credits.
  • If you would like to take a course in English technical writing or related topics, please note that only one course (3 credits) can be counted as our program's graduation credits.
  • You can select the Mandarin-taught courses with your Taiwanese labmates if your Mandarin is good. Only two Mandarin-taught courses (total 6 credits) can be counted in our program's graduation credits.

(2) Academic credit will not be given if a grade of B- (score of 70 in the percentage system); a grade of B- (score of 70 in the percentage system) is the passing grade.

*(3) The NSYSU scholarship recipient is required to maintain a semester GPA of 3.38 or above (or a percentile score of 80%+) to receive the scholarship for the subsequent semester.
