2022.12.2 English Coner event -- The Hakka Culture and Farm Experience

      Meining is a famous village that has preserved its roots in Hakka tradition more fully than other towns in Taiwan. Clearwater, fertile soil and sunny weather have made Meinong an agricultural center for high-quality rice, vegetables, and fruit.

      We visited the Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum, learned about indigo dyeing, and pick tomatoes in the field. Also, we learned about Haka on this trip. We said “shin mug ngi” to show our appreciation for the staff of museum staff, and the tutor of indigo dyeing. They said, “zang loi liau” to show their hospitality and welcome us to visit here again. We spent a wonderful day in this village. Hope it will be an unforgettable trip for all of you.
